Referral Desk Website Terms of Use
Effective
These terms describe the permitted use and scope of referraldeskcare.com and its public resources. Referral Desk is a student-founded business initiative based in Baltimore, Maryland. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Referral Desk team operating this website.
Purpose of the website
We share information about administrative workflows for independent outpatient practices and invite conversations about their needs. Referral Desk is in customer discovery. Examples and possible services are not promises of availability, proven results, or a particular financial or operational outcome.
Visiting the site, using a checklist, or scheduling a conversation does not create a paid service agreement. Any project requires a separate written agreement covering scope, responsibilities, fees, access, and relevant safeguards.
Before a paid project
Before you agree to paid work, we will set out the deliverables, responsibilities, fees, payment schedule, and any cancellation, refund or renewal terms in a separate written agreement. Changes to scope or fees require agreement before the additional work begins. Scheduling a conversation does not enroll you in a paid service or subscription.
The practice must approve the tools, permissions and safeguards needed for a project before system access or data handling begins. Any proposed use of AI tools involving practice information must be addressed in that approval. Website terms alone do not authorize access to patient information.
No medical advice or patient services
The website and its resources are for general business and administrative discussion. They do not provide diagnosis, triage, treatment, medical advice, or emergency services and do not create a clinician–patient relationship. Clinical decisions and escalation procedures remain with qualified clinicians and practice leadership.
Do not submit patient information, medical records, system credentials, or other confidential information through this site, meeting bookings, or ordinary email. Use non-identifying workflow examples. No access to a practice’s systems is authorized by these website terms.
Using the site and resources
You may browse, link to, and use our public workflow resources for your own lawful business discussions. You may share unmodified copies of our checklist internally with your team, retaining Referral Desk attribution and its scope notices.
Do not disrupt the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, misrepresent your affiliation with us, or present our materials as your own. Referral Desk’s original text, branding, and images remain the property of their respective rights holders. Other reproduction, resale, or use of our name or logo as an endorsement requires permission, except where the law permits it.
Interface icons are provided by Lucide. The applicable third-party license notices are available separately.
External services and privacy
Booking and other external links take you to services such as Calendly and LinkedIn. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. A link is not a guarantee of their availability, accuracy, or suitability.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information associated with this website, business inquiries, and bookings.
Information and availability
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but information may be incomplete or change. Evaluate resources for your own practice and seek appropriate professional advice before acting. The website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or suitability for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, or replaces obligations in a separately signed client agreement.
Updates and questions
We may update the website and these terms as our work develops. The effective date identifies the current version. Updates do not change an existing client agreement without the agreement required by that contract.
For questions or permission to reuse materials, contact Ebubechi Onyia, Co-founder & CEO, at hello@referraldeskcare.com.
Accessibility and help
If a page, link or resource is difficult to use, email hello@referraldeskcare.com. Tell us which page you were using, what you were trying to do, and the barrier you encountered. You can also use this email to request a conversation if the booking website is inaccessible.
Please do not include patient information, passwords or other sensitive details in your request.
